soft.place

sewn fabric, confession booth, zines, pillows

soft.place was created for commerce and performance, where creators and consumers could come together to exchange zines and other small artworks.

To invite the attendants to fully immerse in the emotio-economics of the space, a small vestibule in the back of the space led to a confessional booth. Once in the booth, entrants had the option to confess, to be confessed to by a soft.place employee, or both. Website here.

Soft.place was a collaboration with Kendal Kulley and John Slye.
