Eatquity

purple bread, gouda, equity, voting, milkshakes

In February of 2017 I built a one-night-only restaurant called Eatquity. We served grilled cheeses, milkshakes and equity in the restaurant itself. Periodically we held votes with the current shareholders on whether we should stay open or not. After about two hours of service, we closed after serving and distributing the company among fifty or so customers. The next day, I held a fire-sale liquidation auction, and sold all the fixtures and left over food from the restaurant.

Thanks to Dot.biz (Helen Ip and Alex Meiser) for inviting me to do the project.
